I have always wanted to work with animals but didn’t want to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine so I chose the Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Program and graduated from Lawrence College in 2002.

I really enjoy educating clients on care of their pets and love to provide a positive experience for them when they are in the practice. I also have an interest in nutrition and how it can be used as medicine for so many aspects of pet health.

I have worked at Gander Vet Clinic since 2005. I enjoy training new staff and helping them build their confidence as they learn new things. The clinic has such a sense of family and we always find time to laugh and have fun which makes coming to work every day a little bit easier.

A fun fact about me is that I love cats, but I hate dressing up! Give me a sweatshirt covered in cat hair and I’m happy!
